Licensed Captains Steve and Jan Blazier invite you to come enjoy a half day, full day, or sunset cruise aboard their vintage 30 foot sailing sloop CHASSE', a refitted 1980 J-30 ocean racer/cruiser designed by Rob Johnson and built by Tillitson-Pearson for J-Boats Inc. She has a 18HP Yanmar diesel engine, a displacement of 7,000lbs, draft of 5' 5", length 30', beam 11', and can comfortably carry captain and crew and up to six passengers. There is also a clean, private restroom aboard for guests. Sailing out of the beautiful Joe Wheeler State Park Marina allows easy access to the prime sailing waters of both Wheeler and Wilson Lakes. Within minutes of boarding Chasse' you will be sailing along the beautiful Tennessee River shoreline, enjoying a soft lake breeze and warm Alabama sunshine. Along the way you are likely to see some of our abundent wildlife including eagles, gulls, blue herons, egrets, fish, turtles and possibly even a gator. So don't forget your camera.
